Super Sailor Mars T-Shirt Design

My shirt design for Sailor Mars. Although her vector pose gave me some trouble, especially her left hand, she wasn't really too bad. Believe it or not though, her background actually gave me some trouble because I found it difficult to layer the flames in a realistic way almost. All in all, I think she came out pretty well.

I'm not too crazy about her front bow however....I dunno, I think it could have used more shading, but when I tried it just didn't look right considering if you think about where the light is hitting her.

Her kanji means "Fire".

Program Used:
Adobe Illustrator CS4 (About a week give or take)

Song: Mistral's Theme from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
